After wishing human trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell well, Donald Trump has taken it a step further. Trump tweeted a picture of some macaroni art that reads “Get Well Soon”. In a tweet he explained his reasoning.
“You see some of these macaroni pictures nowadays and they are just terrible – not all of them, but a large percentage. I wanted to add to America’s ‘Win List’ by showing Ghislaine how great my pasta art can be.”
Critics have wondered if this is a good PR move considering the upcoming election. Trump has responded to a few of these concerns.
“Look, you need to see what we are doing here. Sometimes things are good, sometimes they are bad. You can look at the charts and see how we are polling. At the end of the day, it’s up to the American people to remember that I have wished more human traffickers well than any president, maybe ever.”
