Porsche has unveiled their new version of their Taycan electric car. This newer model was designed to be more affordable for the average consumer.
Porsche was able to reduce costs by exchanging different types of raw materials that make up the car. They were also able to completely revamp the electrical system that drastically improves the MPGe.
The new power system allows the car to travel without having to charge your car at a power station. The only caveat is that the Porsche Taycan has to be plugged in an outlet at all times. If the power cable is disconnected, the car will shutoff.
The power cable is limited to 500ft. You won’t be able to travel far but you will look good driving the Taycan. One of the other downsides is that you won’t know how far you’ll have the cable extended, so accidentally unplugging the power cable while driving will occur.
The new model is estimated to start at $60,000. There are no extension cable adapters available since there’s limitations to power drawbacks. You’ll be limited to 500ft at all times.
